“Now is the time to get excited about, and invest in, the global development of wheelchair basketball.  Like its stand-up counterpart, wheelchair basketball is a fast-paced, gritty, thrilling sport backed by a passionate fan base around the world.  The narrative is shifting: wheelchair basketball is no longer on the sidelines of the sports landscape.  It's inclusive, gaining momentum on the international stage and offers an unparalleled opportunity for corporations to have a bold, innovative and meaningful engagement with wheelchair basketball, especially at the grassroots level.

At the forefront of this movement is Kathleen Meade, Founder of Wheelhouse Sport Development.  She is a driving force behind the sport's international development.  Her deep passion, expansive global network and proven ability to deliver high-impact programs are already elevating the game.  Kathleen's leadership is not only expanding the sport's reach, but also redefining how corporate partners can support, sponsor, engage with and benefit from aligning with wheelchair basketball.  The future and development of wheelchair basketball globally is incredibly exciting, and thanks to the work of Wheelhouse Sport Development, it's a future that is being thoughtfully built now."

“It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that I offer my strongest possible endorsement for Kathleen Meade and the launch of her new venture, Wheelhouse Sport Development (WSD). My involvement in wheelchair basketball spans decades, and I have known Kathleen since 2001, when she served as the Team Manager for the Under 23 USA Men's Team. I can personally attest that during that high-pressure international experience, Kathleen was the indispensable resource and calm, unifying presence that ensured the team's success. Her leadership is defined by a profound passion for the sport, an extensive global network cultivated over years of high-level involvement, and an unparalleled combination of professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and a true "go-getter" spirit.

The launch of WSD is a natural extension of her relentless desire to elevate the game and impact the adaptive sports landscape in groundbreaking ways. Because of this shared mission, Fly Without Limits is proud to stand as a strategic partner to WSD. We emphatically endorse Meade and Wheelhouse Sport Development, and we urge you to lend your support to this impactful initiative.”
